Machu Picchu - 5 days

Upon arrival in the city of Cusco, our transfer service will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign bearing your name to take you to your chosen hotel.

The day begins with pick-up between 6:30-6:50 AM to tour the Sacred Valley, visiting Chinchero (Inca village with handmade textiles), Moray (agricultural experimental terraces), the Maras Salt Mines (more than 3,000 pre-Inca salt wells), lunch in Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo (an imposing Inca military and religious complex with 4-meter stone constructions). Finally, you will take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes where you will stay and receive an evening briefing to prepare for the next day's visit to Machu Picchu.

After breakfast, staff will accompany you from the plaza in Aguas Calientes to the buses that go up to Machu Picchu. At the citadel, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours exploring this impressive Inca city built in the mountains with perfect planning and connection to nature. After the visit, you will return by bus to the town for lunch, sightseeing, shopping, and to collect your luggage from the hotel. Then you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo (arriving 30 minutes early at the station) and from there a shuttle will take you back to Cusco, thus ending your Machu Picchu experience.

Very early departure (4:30-5:00 AM) to the south of Cusco with a stop for breakfast in Cusipata (1.5 hours drive). Continue for another hour to Fulawasipata (4,660 meters above sea level) at the foot of Ausangate, where the approximately 2-hour hike begins, ascending to the Mountain of 7 Colors or Vinicunca (5,200 meters above sea level). During the hike, you will see llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas, and at the top, you will have time to rest and photograph the spectacular colors of the mountain: red, pink, turquoise, and yellow. Afterward, you will descend to Fulawasipata, where the vehicle will be waiting to take you to lunch and return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 PM.

After breakfast at the hotel and depending on your flight schedule, we will transfer you to the airport 2 hours in advance to catch your return flight to Lima.
