Day 1

Arrival in Santa Cruz

Arrival at Baltra Airport and transfer to Puerto Ayora in Santa Cruz. Visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station and the giant tortoise breeding center. Free afternoon to explore the town and snorkel at Playa de los Alemanes.

Day 2

Santa Cruz Highlands

Excursion to the highlands to observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Visit to the lava tunnels and twin craters. Walk to the beautiful Tortuga Bay beach. Snorkel in the turquoise waters observing reef sharks and rays.

Day 3

Transfer to Isabela Island

Speedboat ride to Isabela (2.5 hours). Arrival and accommodation. In the afternoon, snorkel at Concha de Perla where you can swim with sea turtles, penguins, and sea lions. Walk through the town and visit the Turtle Breeding Center.

Day 4

Sierra Negra Volcano and The Tunnels

Early excursion to Sierra Negra Volcano, the second largest crater in the world. Approximately 6-hour hike with spectacular views of lava fields and active volcanoes. In the afternoon, snorkeling tour at Los Túneles, underwater lava formations where you will see seahorses, sharks, and manta rays.

Day 5

Return and Farewell

Free morning for a final snorkeling session or a visit to the Wall of Tears by bicycle. Transfer by boat back to Santa Cruz. Time for last-minute shopping in Puerto Ayora. Transfer to Baltra airport for departure flight.
