Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Baños

Reception and transfer from Quito or Ambato airport to Baños de Agua Santa (3 hours). Accommodation in a hotel with views of the Tungurahua volcano. Free afternoon to explore the town and its streets full of adventure shops. First relaxation session in the public thermal pools of Santa Clara or La Virgen. Dinner with traditional melcocha.

Day 2

Waterfall Route

Full day excursion along the spectacular Waterfall Route. Visit to the Manto de la Novia, Agoyán, and impressive Pailón del Diablo waterfalls. Hike and descend stairs into the waterfall. Cross the exciting suspension bridge over the Pastaza River. Tarabita (handcrafted cable car) with panoramic views. Afternoon of photography at the viewpoints.

Day 3

Canopy and Bungee

Jumping Morning of extreme adrenaline. Canopy (zip line) over the Pastaza River canyon with spectacular views (several cables up to 400 meters). Bungee jumping from the San Francisco bridge (100 meters of free fall). Free afternoon to recover and relax in the hotel's private hot springs or thermal spa.

Day 4

Rafting and Kayaking

Full day of water sports. Class III-IV rafting on the Pastaza or Patate River depending on experience level (3-4 hours on the river). Safety instruction and full equipment included. Afternoon kayaking in calmer waters or natural showers in waterfalls. Relaxing evening in thermal pools under the stars.

Day 5

Swing at the End of the World and Canyoning

Visit to the Tree House and the famous Swing at the End of the World with views of the Tungurahua volcano. Photo session at this iconic location. Afternoon of canyoning (abseiling down waterfalls): descent down waterfalls of up to 40 meters in the middle of the jungle. Technical equipment and specialized guides. Dinner with panoramic views.

Day 6

Entrance to the Amazon Puyo

Excursion to Puyo, the official entrance to the Ecuadorian Amazon. Visit to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the endless jungle. Tour of the Kichwa indigenous community: demonstration of blowguns, ancestral ceremonies, and Amazonian cuisine. Hike along primary jungle trails. Bird and monkey watching. Return to Baños.

Day 7

Trekking to Tungurahua Volcano

Trekking hike to the foothills of the active Tungurahua Volcano. Ascent to the viewpoint or refuge depending on volcanic conditions (4-6 hours). Breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Free afternoon for a final hot spring session or relaxation massage at a local spa. Farewell dinner with live music.

Day 8

Last Day and Return

Free morning for pending activities: mountain biking on local trails, ATV tour, visit to the Baños zoo, or last-minute shopping for handicrafts. Final session in the hot springs. Transfer back to Quito or connection according to itinerary. Farewell with memories full of adrenaline and relaxation from the Ecuadorian paradise.
